Barnett Station - Two Bedroom SUBSIDIZED RENT - Thank you for your interest in Barnett Station in Shelby MI. We have 2 and 3 bed townhouses for rent through an assistance program that will pay a portion of your rent similar to section 8.
All of our available townhouses are placed through the local housing agency. I can send you their application by email to print yourself or by postal mail. Generally speaking, applicants for a two bedroom need to have a minimum household size of one adult and one child or a qualifying exemption for more room. They also have special requirements such as the applicant household must be low income as well as meet one of the three following criteria: homeless/at risk of imminent homelessness, special needs, and/or fleeing domestic violence.
Paper applications only. In order to apply you can reach out to Kittie Tunistra at Oceana County Housing Commission/Dogwood Community Development directly or email compliance@mthmgt.com for the application.
These applications MUST be returned to Kittie, they will not be accepted by mail or dropoff at the property and will only delay your application by doing so.
